iPod Nano source vs. plain MacBook source

i'm goin on a couple hour drive with my parents then back home today - i have Grado SR125

what is a better source for the trip
iPod Nano or MacBook or are they the same quality? (ik neither of them are very good sources by any means...)

Why don't you just test and see which you like more?
Or even bring both. The nano shouldn't weight you down much.
