Bass Boost on the output

Just wondering

Does anyone know, would it be feasable to put a bass boost circuit on the output of an amp, so you could make a sort of bass boost dongle that could be transportable and used on different amps??

not really a nice thing to do since you'll load the output of the amplifier with nasty caps and resistors. Which negates the whole idea of a high performance amplifier.

You should try a device in between the source and the amplifier instead.

Without another active circuit (which would be an amp in itself) you can't achieve "boost". At best you could implement a passive network that sucks out the mids and highs to emulate a "bass boost".

If you were to implement an active circuit, then why wouldn't it be the amp with the bass boost in its feedback loop?
