Just bought these. Any opinions or rants? I have a 3-week delay before they ship, so if anyone has strong feelings, speak now or I will be holding YOUR breath!

I think you will be very happy. Please post a review.

The B-G ribbon drivers are/were used in some very high end speaker systems. Is the price in the page you linked the price? If so, that is a unbelievable bargin.

No, the price is even lower!
If you add it to your basket, the true price is $149/spkr. But that aside, I had seen the reviews for the previous model the X3. The X7 is a bit of an unknown quantity. I did write to BG, who said that the otherwise identical BG has an improved ribbon tweeter, higher quality aluminium cone woofers and improved exterior finish. I was looking for a partner for my new sharp sm-sx1 amplifier and the high efficiency (93dB), the frequency response 40Hz- 20Khz and its cool looks sold me on it. (The price helps!)
