Did I kill my ipod?

So, I was just switching out the standard 80gb ipod (5.5g) hard drive for the 240 gb version, I took it apart, removed the old hard drive, put the new one in, and then when to put it back together again. When I went to reconnect the battery, things didn't look so good, the connector wouldn't go back in. Now when I look at it I see what happened, rather than have the tab come out (basically, the battery has this tab which slips into a connector), the entire connector came off of the board. I am assuming that I just killed the thing, but is there anyone out there that can somehow reconnect the battery to the circuit board?

Sounds like you will need to buy a new logic board. And do you have a link to where you bought the HDD thanks.
