IEMs for Metal

Hi,

Recently my JBL Reference 220 in ear phones broke so i need to get a new pair. I mostly listen to harder stuff, melodic death metal, progressive metal etc. Bands like In Flames, Children of Bodom, Between The Buried And Me, Dethklok, etc.

Can anyone recommend a few headphones that I could look into? I want them to be in ear, but don't have to be completely noise canceling like shures as i was satisfied with my JBLs (noise canceling wise) too. For riding the bus, listening to my ipod, etc. I have HD555s for home listening.

Price range is under $200 for sure, but I would prefer $50-$150...

Good luck sticking those in your ear .

I'd say look into the Maximo Im-590. They work great with metal and are just solid all-around IEMs. On the low end of your budget, too.
