Headphone suggestions ~$200-300 for music and dolby headphone (movies)

Since I will be moving into a dorm soon, I do not want to really pack any speakers, so I'm looking for a set of full sized headphones for ~$200-300 USD.

I listen to many genres of music, I enjoy really good clarity with nice bass. My current headphones that I use on the go are Sleek Audio SA6 with the Bass ++ and the treble+ ports, I really enjoy them, although I wish the low end had a little more punch to it.

They will be hooked up to a Asus Xonar U1 USB soundcard and maybe an amp. They will only be used at home/dorm and not on the go.

I'd like them to sound good with dolby headphone feature.

If I could afford the Smyth SVS or Beyer Headzone stuff I would choose those over the dolby headphone option, but cost is a factor and I cannot afford those solutions =(

Good without an amp would be nice...since that would save money. Looking for all opinions. Open/closed doesn't matter as long as it'll be comfy to wear for at least the length of a longish movie (3hrs)

Check out some Ultrasones. Ultrasone Pro 900 is by far the best headphone for movies I have used.
