Hm...The RE0 does sound more enticing. I'm curious though, wouldn't a price drop mean the value of RE1 increases? I noticed you kept it at 4.5.

Ray Samuels Audio makes an amp called the Shadow, and its about the same size as the Clip/Clip +. Just a though if your looking for an amp that doesnt dwarf the Clip/Clip+. And BTW, the Shadow is one impressive little amp, IMO it edges out by a small margin my RSA P-51 Mustang. Just my $0.02. Cheers my friend.

Personally, I returned my RE0s@ 29 days for a couple of reasons, one of them being that I like my RE1s better (the other reason was a physical defect that didn't affect SQ, but was convenient as it made returning necessary). They both really benefit from amplification IMO. To my ears, the RE0s were anemic in the low end without amping, while the RE1s need amping for overall dynamic definition.

To me it wasn't much of a contest, but my opinion seems to be in the minority even though the RE0s seem to be losing their FOTM status as of late (the RE1s had FOTM status before the RE0s came out). To me the two are analogous to the HD600/650 comparisons, where the difference is largely seen as personal preference and the 600s are generally seen as easier to drive than the 650s.

Ironically, I prefer the HD600s to the HD650s, but I want to give the 650s another chance. The RE0s, not so much

Thank you very much CelieOS, i am a fan of "airy" sounding headphones and the SB does sound like it suits me better than the RE1, i think i'll take it, But heck, with the re1's new price i can just buy both.
Is there any airy sounding iem better than them both in a price of less than 200$?

Hi, i'm in process of getting new IEMs for my nano mainly intended for use while running or working out. My budget is around 90$ and i'm keen to get the best sq for that money.

I'm currently using Koss Plugs with my nano and Denon ah-d1001 with my pc. I had grados sr60 for a while but they were uncomfortable so i sold them. I'm not skilled in describing sound but i can tell that i liked grado sound the most. I listen to rock mainly, but also like blues, jazz and pop - favorite band Steely Dan.
Also, i'm planing to get uDAC or some other usb dac.

So far I'm undecided between Re0, visang r03, thinksound rain and eternas.

As i see from the "List" FA Eterna are highly rated but i'm unable to get to them couse no1 is selling atm.

I have read that re0 don't work well with nano and as i don't intend to carry an amp with me i had to eliminate them from the list but i'd like to hear some more opinions on this.

That leaves r03 and rain that not many people had chance to hear:

I read some positive reviews on this forum regarding thinksound, but then again on other sites they are not so highly regarded (especially on cnet where they got 3 stars). I'm taking them into consideration because i like how they look and can get them for 60$.

R03 are quite new and from reviews on this forum they are supposed to be very good and cheap as presale on mp4nation is bound to begin very soon.

I'd like to get some thoughts on this from people who had actually heard at least two of these phones so i can get a fair comparison. Replays like "I have these phones and they are uber mega super awesome" won't help me much as i have read many of these already.
Also, i encourage you to recommend me any other IEMs that would fit my needs.
