Been out of the game for a while... Looking for:

Hey guys, I've been out of the "earphone / headphone" game for a while (been busy with speakers and just generally other stuff).

I've came back to read about customs, and I see that quite a few companies that offered it, are basically either not there anymore or split up into something else. So Im not too sure which may be the "best value / money" or what not now.

Heres kinda what I'm looking for:
1. Custom IEM
2. Great build quality, something that will LAST (I am not an abuser)
3. Decent sound. (I had the SuperFreqs, and while they are "fun", they arent accurate)
4. Pricing value. so performance / price ratio should be high.

Thanks for reading, trying to get back into the game, but looking at the few pages in the forum, none of them look too promising right now.

Tsi would you be kind enough as to give us a price budget to work off of?

I'm feeling about under $400/500 (I would really love to get UE, but damn its expensive as hell!)

You may want replaceable cables too. It seems a good amount of custom iems offer that as well. It's a feature I'd want if I were in the market.

I would recommend the JH5 and UE4 at that price range and since you are looking for longevity JH also offers a longer warranty both have replaceable cables
