Would you give up music if you could live 3 years longer?

Assume you know you've got at least 10 more years to live and you couldn't hear music anymore, even if it's playing on the elevator, tv, someone's whistling, etc.

I say no.

I would rather have a quality life for 7 years than a "miserable" one for 10 years...

Nahhh, there is not a chance I would trade 3 extra years for a bunch a years without my tunes. I doubt that there is anyone here who would, unless they already have severe tinnitus.

I would give up sex long before I'd give up music, but that's just me

I absolutely love music. But, probably yes... I'd give up music for 3 more years with my loved ones and a chance to do something positive in my and other people's lives for those 3 years.

This is how it goes for me........ anything that prevents me from dying.... Food / Sleep / Oxygen.......I wouldn't give those up before music, but then after the bare essentials.....

MUSIC

SEX

INTERNET / COMPUTER

ART

I know when I get married the girl who marries me will know in her heart that music comes first, but hopefully she will love me for that and not resent me

I would much rather die 3 years earlier than live without music. That said, I would NEVER give up sex for music. That's absurd.
