New to headphones, new here, I am a PC guy.

Looking for some budget cans to get started on hopefully, my new hobby.

Something $20-$30, maybe some HD201's or something along those lines.

Thanks.

GOT EM! Thanks Joker!

Not much available in that price range - however, I would recommend the HD 201's - blew me away when i first heard the SQ from these spectacular inexpensive Sennheisers.

Sorry for your wallet. It's a slippery slope you've started on. Welcome!

At half that price range you should pick up a pair of KSC-75....

x2 KSC-75's

also look into Senn PX100 and JVC HA-RX700

EDIT: somehow thought this was the main headphones forum. Sorry for spamming.
I pulled an all nighter, and I am not functioning very well.

Go try to get a pair of Denon AH-D1001, great budget closed cans which work perfect directly from your PC soundcard without the need for an external amp. It's a bit over your price range though (~$70 used).

Koss Porta Pro, Sennheiser PX100 / PX200 or AKG K412 / K414 may be good options in your price range.
