Katherine Jenkins
Focus more on her album covers then her singing

Katie Melua
Sings like a 14-year old girl. There is no feel and no dynamics but hold things together a bit better then Jenkins at least.

I never understood why Janis Joplin got as much coverage as she did. IMO, it was more about her lifestyle than anything else because her voice was terrible. She could have used some Protools help.

I'd have to agree. I'll throw Celine Dion into the mix because i could never stand her.

wow, really? I just recently started listening to joplin and was blown away. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, and yes- the media kinda gives her unnecessary exposures.

Janis Joplin - It always amazes me how the memory is usually far more grand then the actuality. She was part of a culture, and it's the culture that is forever embraced. As for her singing, she would be kicked of American Idol during the first episode.

Oh, and Celine Dione SUCKS!
