What is this called?

The cable in that picture above that someone was selling, I'm trying to get one to replace the one that came with my Fiio E5 - I think it is a mini to mini 3.5mm cable?

I looked in every shop near me and all the 3.5mm to 3.5mm cables they sell are about 1-3metres in length..yet I need one that's about 3 inches long at most

Can you buy ones that small in any shops? (Mainly UK shops but I would buy online if I have to) I'd spend about £20 on it, just looking for something more sturdy than the cheap flimsy one supplied with the E5.

My setup stuff is in my sig if you need to see if it's the right sort of cable I'm after - not looking for a line out cable as my player doesn't have a LOD.

Thanks

Making your own isn't an option? You can easily commission someone to build one for you, or just shorten a stock one yourself.

EDIT: or just buy this one. http://www.headphone.com/accessories...ni-to-mini.php

The one on that site ^ is out of stock at the moment.

Not really sure how to make one, do I need a soldering iron and things? I've never done any sort of stuff like this before but could try it maybe.

You might find this guide helpful if you decide to DIY...
