Curious as to whether anyone jumped on this deal yet? I might get a second pair through them for my brother. I'd just like to hear someone else's opinion other than my own and Ortofon's on them. Definitely above any hundred dollar can out there that I've heard...actually worth the $150 normal rate.

Seems they have the same manufacture. I did a bit of looking into them.
They don't seem to share the drivers of their ultrasone equivalent, and I can't seem to find any testimonies that I can have confidence in that proclaim how good they are.

They surely aren't bad though, thats for sure.

They sound great. Ultrasone manufactures them. Ortofon chose the drivers and "voiced" them. The O2 is more a djing and disco sound. O-One is the...err...one you want for listening. I have a review on Djforums and there's a 4 headphone times two pads (8 variations) roundup that should be up anytime...not sure what's taking Stripe so long to put it up.

Rebranded Ultrasones (DJ line, if I'm not mistaken). Which isn't a bad thing at that price.

I'd pick it up, but I already own the DJ1-Pro.

You are mistaken. The two Orts have different drivers than any other Ultrasone.

Interesting, I swore I read something that mentioned the drivers were actually from the Ultrasone DJ line. My mistake.
