J&R an authorized Sennheiser dealer?

Hello guys,

I am fairly new to headphones and am looking to get a dedicated pair. I love Sennheiser (have ever since hearing the HD650) and have the HD205, but am looking for an improvement. I found the HD515 on amazon for $66 shipped, from J&R Music and Computer World. I would like to get these, but wasn't sure of the dealer was authorized or not; the price is so cheap and I don't want counterfeits. After a bit of research, a lot of people said they are authorized, but I just wanted to see if anyone on this forum knows for sure, or has bought any cans from them. Thanks!

I bought my HD650 from J&R. I had no problems when I sent them in to Sennheiser to get the headband replaced when the paint started flaking off under warranty.

I also bough my HD-650 from J&R almost four years ago. If I recall, I did my homework back then and found out that they were authorized dealers. They're also reliable - I've never had trouble with J&R.

Ok, I haven't had anyone tell me they aren't authorized.

So, since I'm here, anyone have experience with the 515's?

I just checked Sennheiser's list of authorized dealers to confirm, they do list J&R.

J&R is too big of a retailer to not be an authorized dealer for anything they sell.
