I'm looking for a top quality portable amp to use with the JH-13 Pro, and I'm considering Headroom's Desktop Portable Amp. Size is not too much of a concern for me, but it does need to be battery powered. My question is, will the desktop portable's extra power and class A circuitry actually make it perform substantially better with super-sensitive IEMs than the micro line, or even ultraportables like, say, the Pico Slim or RSA Shadow, or are its benefits reserved for full-sized headphones?
