D2/D2+?

May get a 16GBer[already got 4GB]. Got sweet theme and music screen on my old D2...like to just swap over my f/w & settings. Is the + so much better?

Edit - Actually I recall my D2 was a UK version, I tricked US Firmware on...

Umm whats the state of play now?

Have you tried installing rockbox yet? When it's installed, the D2 or D2+ can dual boot to standard or rockbox firmware. To me, it sounds so much better with rockbox (I only turn on crossfeed and leave everything at default). You can also install D2+ firmware on the D2 to make use of the BBE+ effect.
