FiiO E5 Headphone Amplifier: The Right Choice?

Thank you for taking the time to read this.


I am going to purchase a pair of Audio Technica ESW9 or i guess ESW9A they are called now.

I will only use them for my home notebook computer and my iPod and iPhone at home and occasionally on the go. Would the FiiO E5 Headphone Amplifier be a good investment or is it unnecessary? Thank you and please feel free to recommend something different.

esw9 doesnt need an amp, but will improve with one. Try something more substantial if you need a portable amp, e.g. corda 3move
