The singer has spoken about the future of the group for the first time since his brother Noel quit the band in August, and although he admits Oasis are over he plans to continue making music with the remaining members – guitarist Gem Archer, bassist Andy Bell and drummer Chris Sharrock.

Hmm, will be interesting to see what comes out of this, bad or good.

Finally, this should have happened in '95.

It's a real shame I never got to see them live. It'll be interesting see if this is just another flame up or if this really is the end of them. If so it's certainly a sad day for those who enjoy their works.

All things must pass (except Rolling Stones)

Oasis had long extremely successful 15+ year run, bright stars eventually burn out and change was bound to come. Perhaps there will be great music to come from former band members........this is just music darwinism at work

Count me as huge Oasis fan, love thier work

LOL That seems to be the trend. All the 80s bands are touring around it seems.

If not, there's always infomercial where washed up athletes, actors, and musicians humiliate themselves to pad their retirement
