Before I'm resort to renting a car to get here, is somebody driving through northern SF to get here that has room for 1 more with extra equipment? PM if you're coming through, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I've also decided that I'll try to finish up another PPAS amp to raffle off at this event just like the last NorCal meet. Last time it raised over $300, hope this one goes as well.

Today is the day! John Curl will also be there, so those of you in the SF Bay Area, you can still just show up if you haven't pre-registered.

I won't be able to make it. But tell John that I did and ask him if he's seen me yet.

When the color returns to his face, tell him you were only kidding and give him a big noogie for me, will ya?

I got essentially no good inside shots (didn't bring a good cam with me) but if you step outside, this is what you see as the event is ending:

turn around and there's this strange set of (speakers?):

there was video being done (at least 1 good vid cam was there), and many slrs. I left my slr at home and mostly stayed at my table, doing demos; so I didn't even get to see all that much, myself.

but there were LOTS of slrs there. *someone* took pics.

Sure.

But as I said, none to speak of have been posted so far.

Perhaps they're still sobering up.

I was too busy talking with people and listening to systems to take many photos, and didn't take any photos of the upstairs activities. But what I did take are all here:

Btw, the main Burning Amp Festival thread at diyaudio has some pics. That thread includes previous years, so look towards the end of the thread for recent posts.
