Nice work! Looks like a Denon headband but I can't figure out what drivers you are using. True to the word Frankenphone with nuts and bolts holding the drivers in place

Are you enjoying the sound?

it appears to be a h4xed MDR-F1 with denon frame and other goodies...

I have franken650s, F1 frame with the drivers

hah yeah they are the mdr-f1 drivers i got from scootermafia, i re-screened them with black cloth, added damping, and switched the pads to k-240 vinyl. the headband is a denon d2000, and they are recabled to dual entry with spofhc sheathed in nylon multifilament.

they sound better than the denons did?

i guess i should give this a sound review if people are still looking at it. they don't have very much bass, but have excellent sound stage. i built these strictly for video games, and i think they will do quite well at that. i never tried the d2000 as it came with a bad driver (if anyone has one let me know hah,) and the stock mdr-f1 i have isn't in very good shape. they are quite comfy, and definitely sound sufficient for straight out of the laptop if you don't mind less bass.

F1s run off weak amplification and have great soundstage. Their bass is nonexistent and they are not in the same class as HD650s and up, but they are very comfortable and this is a good looking mod.
