Do you recognize this tune? (probably 80s / new wave)

All I can remember is a small snippet, which I've recorded myself whistling.

The song is probably from the 80's, likely fitting into the New Wave genre. It features a male vocalist, has drums, and probably guitar. I think it sounds like something the Cure might play, and in fact it could be by the Cure.

If you recognize it, I'd surely appreciate your help! This is tearing me apart

Might be Let's Go To Bed- The Cure....Although, LGTB is a bit faster...

Let's Go To Bed isn't the one I'm searching for, but I really appreciate the effort! I swear, the vocalist really sounds like the guy from the Cure... but that might be a false lead, I bet it's a different band that just sounds sort of similar.

Anyhow, if any other ideas pop up for anyone, please post! Much appreciated...
