I appreciate the opportunity to mine the depths of wisdom here: I'd like a pair of IEMS the design of which would allow me to be lying on my side in bed, head on a pillow, without digging the piece into my ear further or general causing discomfort. Doesn't need to have stellar sound quality, just good to (maybe?)very good. I don't want a piece of junk. I'm fortunate that I can budget up to $300 or so for his purchase. Anyone already found such an item? Thank you so much!

um3x/w3 are the most comfortable universal IEM's i've ever used.. but that's about $300 new
you should try the Yuin PK3 first.. they are much cheaper and very comfortable... it's an earbud instead of in-ear, but im guessing isolation is not important when you're in bed

Soundmagic PL50 if 'good' sound quality is sufficient. They are very good for the price but definitely far underbudget for you.
