U2- 360 Tour (Attendees)(Thoughts)

I was wondering how many have caught the current U2 tour. I'm heading up to Tampa on Friday for the show.

Fan reviews seem very positive so far (those are the ones that count)

I saw them 4 days ago in Charlottesville, Va. I also saw the Vertigo tour in Chicago in 2005.

I am a big fan of U2, so I'm probably not one to give an objective review, but I sure enjoyed it. I'm not sold on the new album, but they seem to be only playing what I consider to be the better tracks from it, so that helped. They played well, Bono's voice sounded good (with the notable exception of "With or Without You", which he essentially spoke--I was a little miffed about that) and they seemed to be into it--add to that that monstrosity of a set, and if you're not impressed, then it is impossible to impress you. Haha.

Have fun!

Thanks very much kamcma...

Really looking forward to it. Yes, the new album had to grow on me a bit. From what I have read and now your views, the set is a monster....

Thanks again

I went the Cardiff (Uk) gig. I loved it, mind you i really like the new album as well. The way they mixed their video was amazing, it was live and easily music video quality. The set was great and included all the major songs. I really hope they release a tour Cd cos il be all over it.

I attended the 360 tour in Horsens, Denmark this Monday and it was absolutely fantastic. I think the setting was too small for 35.000 people and the 360 degree scene was too big for that stadium - it wasn't really 360 degrees.

I was not deeply influenced by the concert like I was back in 2005 when they were here as part of the Vertigo tour. Back then I think the concert was fantastic because there was so much at stake in the world in the post 9-11 years and the whole "Coexistence" message was spot on at that time.

"What time is it in the world?" a very deep question too and maybe there is much more at stake these years than we know? The 360-tour is definitely recommendable.

I saw the DVD recorded from the LA Rose Bowl concert and it was much better than the concert in Horsens, Denmark. A great DVD-koncert you have to see!!! I love U2 - not for their music or great recordings - but for their spirit and the way they are.
