I did this post awhile back but I can set up a meetup here in Jacksonville.

Thank goodness I'm in college and I didn't know that I can request a room for gatherings here in University of North Florida.

Even better my roommate is a leader of one of the clubs here on campus and he can even give us free food and a nice size room (plus the endorsement, well he is part of the anime club but we do have music people in the club so they want to attend to see what a real amp does and such).

So pretty much I can set up a meetup here in Jacksonville.

I don't think there was ever a meetup here in Jacksonville before so I want to see if I can do the first one here in Jacksonville.

I know my setup is not high-end, but the whole point of the meetup is learning about different stuff, try out new things, and the most important thing is making new friends and try out new music.

I might be able to get the music professors from UNF on board from this, but I don't think they take headphones seriously. Then again I haven't tried talking to them yet.

I will tell you guys one thing: Even will take place most likely on a Saturday and admissions is free and so is the free food once again.

Why on Saturday:

* Free parking.
* No traffic, quiet.
* Free everything, seriously.

I think this is a win-win case for all of us.


Ok I understand that I'm new and I haven't even been here for not even a year, but I done different meetups for different hobbies before so I know how to run it nicely. I will even post my phone number so anyone can contact me about the meetup.

I'm a very trust worthy person and I will make sure none of your stuff will be damaged or stolen (Thief is rare on campus, but I'm anal about other people's stuff so I will make your stuff is safe. Also people who try to steal stuff won't be able to leave the doors because there is only one door to go out of the room).

So this is it. I can do a meetup here in Jacksonville. Location is great since it is near 9A (which links up to I95 and I295).

What do you say members, interested?

I can do it anytime between February to April but I need more interest from people first and I would like to set the date up in advance (for room reasons).

I can do it in January but I think it might be too early.

If you are interested when you guys want to do it? I am very flexible but it needs to be decided in advance.
