Help: source overload

I am at a bit of a loss as to what I need/want for my source. I really don't care if it is portable or 100 pounds stuck in the living room. Currently I have a pair of SR-225's(iphone or some cheap insignia speakers via the computer ./;gasp)...that is it. I listen to electronica/rock and like female vocals within electronic/dance etc. I do plan on getting an amp eventually as well but that will probably be christmas. I was looking at the sony D-25 player but was hoping for something closer to the $200 dollar mark if possible and again I don't care if its portable or not.

looks like the sony SCD-CE595 will be what I get unless I can find a martantz for similar price.

I'd take your Grados to a hi-fi store and try them in all the CD players in your budget, with music you like.

The SCD-CE595 is a terrific player for the price. If you get one, be sure to pick up a few SACDs to go with it. The format doesn't get much attention, but it's wonderful.
