My best deal was a Yamaha YH-1 found in a dim basement corner at an Estate Sale. No price tag. How much? Oh, a dollar? OK. This headphone went on to greatness after I gave it to Billinkansas, and he modded it. I had to pick my jaw off the floor when I first heard them after he did the work.

Also, I once won an HD280. So $0.

Still one of the worst value-for-money headphones I've ever had, such is its badness.
