This is my fourth and last RMAF. For some reason, it just didn't "go".

The brightest spot, BY FAR, was the far right corner of the CanJam room, where under an alias, I became convinced that i had to own both a ZDT and the new Audeze LCD-2 headphones. The SS version of the Exstata amp also presented me some golden moments. To me, it was far and away the best SS head amp I have ever heard, and i hope the builder can get it into production. The "private people" I met in the corner with the Exstata, the ZDT and the Blue Hawaii amp were the nicest people I met the whole time at RMAF. I'm getting old, and my brain fogs up after 10AM, so i don't remember your names, but thanks for making my day.

By the way, I am also one of those foolish people who paid $30 for an Acoustic Sounds SACD. This was supposedly better than the original RCA Living Stereo version of Night on Bald Mountain. The RCA SACD remake of the original costs, I think, $8 on Archive. The guy who sold me the Acoustic Sounds CD, said I should buy a diaper because the sound was so great. I threw up in the diaper.

I am glad the rest of you had a good time.

It feels good to be home, but still it's too, too bad they can't ship Rocky Mountain National Park to Denmark!

To follow on from my previous post (#118), here are some pics. These are actually the most recent pics which were taken on the night of Sunday (10/4) when we assembled a large group (~20 people) and headed over to a pizza joint for dinner.

Thanks for the kind words - Alex will be glad to hear. To clarify for those who might still be cloudy - the plan is to release the eXStatA as a DIY project as soon as development and vetting is complete.

I shall put to rest the pizza debate before it engulfs us all:

1) Cheese
2) Pepperoni
3) Sausage/Green pepper
4) Hawaiian
5) Supreme
6) Chicken/Artichoke white pie
7) Another cheese

Some of them went pretty quick, as you might imagine with 20 folks, so no wonder there were no pictures taken.

Just got through the whole thread. Thanks so much for the comments and the pictures looks like so much fun.

Boy if i could find a use for iems more than once a month i would jump on those JH13s they seem like a great way to go portable.
