i think I'll beat this dead horse a bit more
I think that is a perk of owning a beamer or a benz, you get the added bonus of douchery. how else are people suppose to justify dropping 50, 60 k on a car?
I can't help but feel a sense of superiority when I walk down the street and see some people with there classic ipod headphones and for the longest time I thought that those headphones that came with the ipod where among the best headphones I ever heard... that is until I found this forum and started to learn about colored sounding headphones vs neutral and different sound signitures, ect.
I'm at the other end of the spectrum also because the best headphones I've ever heard are the monster beats. a considerable amount of people on here would say I'm an amateur and I don't know what I am talking about (to their credit they are correct) but I like em and until I hear something better they are the best.
reading this forum I found out that head-fi'ers have a name for people like that, bassheads.I am considered a basshead. but I did learn that for certain applications like professional audio editing, mixing, DJing...ect having added bass is a bad thing. accurate reproduction of the source is most important in those cases.
