iBasso T4+ Audio Technica ESW10 - Page 3

post #31 of 39
P3+ is in another league compared to T4 or 3. the difference is significant at least.

its has a larger power output and able to roll opamps to suit your different headphones.

I have both the T4 and the P3 Heron. P3 is larger and has the option to roll opamps for different sound signatures. I hear that the P3+ is even better than the P3.

As for the T4, IMO it doesn't sound as good as the P3 Heron but it is much smaller and I use the T4 with the iPod Nano since the size is about the same width but shorter so its size looks like they belong together & the sound of the T4 is very good. I use it with the Klipsch Image X10.

Well, I am going to use it only with the ESW10s so I don't need an amp which has an option to roll opamps.
But anyway it provides a better sound, right?

Yes T4 does make the sound quality better.

2 stupid questions:
1)Is this what you mean when you say LOD?
iBasso
2)When you have amp connected to an iPod Touch, in which device you change the volume? in the amp or in the iTouch? because obviously both of the devices have volume button.
And one more thing- I am going to tell you exactly what I am going to buy, please tell me what do you think:
* Audio Technica ESW10 headphones+ case
* iBasso CB03 (iBasso)
* iBasso P3+ amp
* iPod Touch 64GB

You change the volume on the amp. The ipod's volume should be all the way up or, if that distorts, at about 75% of full volume.

If you can find the ESW10s and they're not fake (be VERY careful who you buy from) that is an excellent setup.

The AMP decides the volume as the signal you get out of the LOD is an analog, non-amplified signal. Using an amp without a LO is pretty much a very stupid thing to do. Double amping is a nono, atleast between DAP and amp.

Congratulations on a great setup. Won't be long before I'm willing to buy the ESW10
