I am selling my mint condition Quad 99 Pre-amplifier. I purchased it brand new in May 2009 for a second system that never fully materialized.

It is highly configurable, with an amazing phono section and defeatable tone and balance controls. I tested all features, inputs and outputs. The unit is working perfectly and is dead-quiet!

Check out the many great reviews!

This unit is in as-new condition with very few hours on it. It still has the plastic protector on the display, and the remote control is still in the original plastic.

It comes from a smoke-free, pet-free, child-free home.

The sale will include the original Quad box, power cord, remote control, owners manual and preamp.

In addition to my Head-Fi feedback, I have perfect feedback on Audiogon and eBay under "danielinvermont."

Bump / final price drop. I believe this Quad piece is worth $600 as a standalone phono stage alone (with its sophisticated switching and sonic controls as a free bonus). Hence, I will gladly keep it if necessary and use it as an outboard phono stage, but I thought it would be nice for it to go to someone who can take advantage of everything it can do. Thanks.
