First post on this forums.
Im new so the thread may be in the wrong compartment,

Title says it all
Im not sure about 80$ Razer Carcharias or 240$ Beats
I would prefer less money, but i can get 240$ if its worth it, especially since im a fan of Eminem

Im also open for other suggestions , it has to be serious design, serious build quality, only brands im familiar with are sennheiser razer monster and audiotehnica(But i dont really like the design)

I had a pair of SS 5Hv2 that gave me headaches, i think it has to do with the way the impulses are transferred over the head, without a wire, open:

Thanks

Sure as hell blows the beats out of the water.

Beats = overpriced junk.

Not sure of the razer.

As a Razer Carcharias owner who wears them for multiple hours at a stretch, I can definitely recommend them. They are quite comfortable, and have very decent bass output. I do recommend taking out the foam ring from behind the pad cloth, because it gives your ears a little more room.

I heard the Beats at a Fry's electronics and they weren't horrible sounding, but I thought they were very bass heavy and not worth the price. I've had bass heavy cans and they are great initially, but I find that after only a short time the overdone bass presentation gets to be too much.

Ok im still not sure what to do
I guess its really about the budget...
Ill see what is the financial situation after i sell my desktop and buy a adamo

I would go with the Senns 595/600 or try the Ultrasone 600's. Any of those would work without an amp and really open up with one.

I'm curious as to how the choice came down to these two.

One is aimed at music listening for the rap/hip-hop crowd and the other is a dedicated gaming headset.

I'd go with the Senn 600, I'm not a fan of the 595.

Both the HD600 and HD595 sound great, but the HD600 will sound a lot more refined. HD650 has too much of a bass hump IMO.

i can bet my head on this: AD700 >>>> Beats + Carcharias

I don't believe there is such a thing as an Ultrasone 600

DT770s.

They're not perfect, but for sheer bass, they blow the competition out of the water. They're also very well made, and the closed design makes them a lot more suitable for portable use.

For hip-hop and gaming, you'll be very happy indeed.

Im sure theyre great but if i pay 300$ id like them to be sennheiser

Is there any way that i would regret paying 400$ for the 650s?
Not many things can output this quality anyway...

Also im not really sure whats the deal with the AMP
Can someone explain this in few words?
Thanks again

Put simply, it provides power to the headphones. HD650s are rather power hungry and therefore, need a good amount of current to make them sound their best.

If you like so-powerful-you-can't-really-hear-the-rest-of-the-spectrum-bass, the the Beats are ok.
