I want to know if any of you can recommend some djs that make some good ambient trance? Stuff that sounds like ATB-Gentle Melody, ATB-Trilogy, ATB-Get High, and ATB-Remember.

You tried any stuff by George Saunders? He's the guy behind Solar Quest and Entropica. I also like Entheogenic & Peking Goddess Collective. If you like a more dubbed out vibe try Dymons or Kuba.....

What I do when I find something I like is I go to Last FM.

If you like Chicane go here then press ''Play Chicane Radio'' you'll get similar stuff which may be to your liking.

Good luck...

Shpongle - Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost

If you like that, try their other albums.

Also: Juno Reactor's albums.

Maybe not ambient 'trance' ,
but I think you really should try Carbon Based lifeforms.

x2 on Shpongle and Juno Reactor

You also might wanna try Pete Namlook and Mixmaster Morris/The Irresistible Force.

If you want REALLY ambient, my favorite is Funki Porcini

Following on Ultimae Records, now that I am back home...

Here's a mix I did in 2007 featuring all their releases (altho obviously, not those more recent ones) :

http://www.jsdecarie.com/mix/ultimae.mp3 (37mb)

Before anyone complains, Ultimae is aware of that mix and gave me permission to send it around.

I called this one "what if you only had 30 mins to sample all of Ultimae's releases" In any case, should give the OP a good idea if the music is for him or not!

Tracklisting available if anyone needs it
