How to convert FLAC from archive.org to smth else on Mac OS X?

...with appropriate metadata. The folders come with metadata files, but I don't know how to tell Max or XLD to use them. Any ideas?

if you mean the .nfo files, that isn't metadata, it's just a textfile describing the contents. If you mean the .cue file, open that file with max.

If there is enough data in the file names, I just use Tag&Rename inside of Crossover Mac to fix things up, if the files aren't tagged that is. Otherwise, Max.

Some possible applications:
* Max
* XLD
* Fluke and iTunes

I do not think any of them can snatch the metadata from external files though, so you may end up doing that task manually.
