Why:I've gotten into them a lot lately and am purchasing more of their discography(I bought Evil Empire a couple weeks ago).
Oh I listened to that for the first time a few days ago, it was fantastic.

Don't buy renegades, it has some of the worst loudness and compression I've ever heard. I was reluctant to even listen to the battle of LA because I was afriad it might have the same mastering, but luckily it doesn't.

^ That's the only Rage CD I've ever had, and I quite like it, which now has me wondering where the heck it is. I'm curious what you like about them.

I know he didn't have a chance to get any for him before he died, so this is one way I can honor him. On one level, it's stupid to think about how someone dead would feel about anything, but in the face of not being able to do anything at all really, it's one small action I can do, and it would have made him very happy. I thought about getting the V6s, but his son is 17, and I figured these Shures would have a better "cool" factor with his friends. I'm not sure I know about that stuff anymore, though, being older than his uncool parents and even more uncool than they. I got a good price from Northern Light & Sound, so picked up a pair for myself as I never really gave them a fair shake at CanJam, and want to check them out. I hope my friend's son will like them.
So sorry to hear about your friend, hope his son and the rest of the family is doing ok.

If you're excited enough to post a picture, why not say why?

Now I'm seeing four awesome metal bands for $35. Talk about bang for your buck. This may be the best metal show yet!
Yeah, they come to my town on the 16th. Excellent convergence of talent.

I hope people aim for real significance with their posts in this thread. Don't make this a post only thread like the last instance. Don't let this become petty.

i went to the arctic monkeys concert in oakland two weeks ago. with the like as the warm up band. my friends and i were floored by how great they sounded. after being very very disappointed by the arctic monkey's set, my friends and i talked to the like in the lobby after the concert. we even took a picture with them, but the guy taking the picture cut me and the drummer out of the picture

I am unclear weather that was aimed at me, but I am assuming so. That being the case I apologize for the lack of content regarding my purchase. Also I apologize for the single line of "those cans look so purdy " but I truly do think that those are some of the sleekest looking cans out there.

Anyways... back on topic.

More to come about my purchase when I receive it!!

Anyone have any ideas what I should draw first? Give me some ideas !

I have a drawing program(Manga Studio) that runs the gambit from sketching to inking/coloring. Which is one of the main reasons why I bought it.

So I went to best buy today, planning to get some music(which was more than I was planning to spend)
I ended up picking up this:

I've heard many people speak highly of it, and for $10+tax, I figured I'd give it a go...it's installing on Steam right now.

Woah, I didn't know TF2 was rated M, or is that the other games included in the orange box?
