Didn't got much time playing with it, jet lag is killing me this time.  I'm very impress.

Where'd you get those two little boxed head guys? They would make awesome additions to the man cave I hope to put together once I'm married.

None of the photos in this post belong to me.

So seeing as I am currently studying Photography at my local university, I have finally invested into a 35mm camera. With it, I purchased some accessories.

I won an intense Auction on eBay for a near mint condition Asahi Pentax K1000 camera that came with a 50mm instead of the one shown below:

With it, I purchased a few rolls of film. I started with the Kodak Tri-X 400 TX 135-36 exp. film:

Ilford Multigrade IV RC Deluxe 8x10 photo paper in Pearl. Doing all the developing myself in the darkroom at school. :)

A negative storage binder:

Some negative sheets for protection and archiving:

A Gordy Camera Strap w/neck strap.

So much into this already, and I feel like I still need more stuff. Regardless, I've been shooting entirely on film these past few days. There is an assignment due but I've been sort of just "bonding" with my camera and learning how it ticks. I feel like comparing it to Vinyl is perhaps the best way to describe why I like it. There is just something nice and satisfying about it more over Digital. It's like there's this feeling that makes me go, "I can't wait to see how this will turn out! Good or Bad!" I seriously am falling in love with film. :)

A Pentax, nice!

I wish I could progress into film photography but I don't have the time to commit right now frown.gif

I do agree in that the time committed to it is much more intense than digital photography. If you ever find the time I do highly recommend investing into it. It really is a rewarding experience and you learn so much about how light really works. I've had my DSLR for over a year now, and I've learned more about photography with this Pentax in the last two weeks I've had it! :)
