^^ Very pretty guitar. What brand is it? I can't quite make out the name on the headstock.

I scored a new amp today. Blackstar HT-5TH, which is a special anniversary model. This is #1 of 2500. Got it from the same guy I got my PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow last month. 5 Watts, 2x10 Celestion speakers. Sounds awesome, even at lower levels.

There called a Caraya guitar. I ended up using the on-board electric tuner and EQ/Amp line out. They don't sell these on Ebay or in shops in the States for some reason? The frets are super thin though? Too thin really. I have no known reason why?

I used to really be a guitar snob. Having a 79 Les Paul, 81 BC Rich. Here these guitars are cheep. This one was only $150. I'm also going to be buying a China made Epiphone acoustic, a little better than this one, only not as loud. Price new $150.00. LOL

I actually enjoy playing these cheapo guitars. They stay in tune. Not an expensive lush tone but not that bad for the money.

I have played maybe 50 or 60 guitars before finding this one here. This side of the world is known for really, really bad guitars, some don't even have truss rods.

Blueberry Guitars are made here though. The best made in Indonesia starting around $1600 usd. This one below $2950 usd.

Some of their guitars are totally over the top.

They look very nice, I have the pencil and ball point pen.  I don't write much or I will pick up the fountain pens too.

I would've gone for the 600 in black with the 14k nib but the seller wanted an extra 100. I'll probably pick up the ballpoint and the pencil(maybe two, 0.5 and the 0.7) when I can next justify an nice writing implement. I rather fancy the original series rotring Newton too, before the design went wrong.

Actually I prefer the silver version more.  I used to study drafting when in college and picked them up, that was long long time ago and they still work like new.  I do have both .5 and .7.

I just prefer gold nibs when I can get them. She didn't have a silver 600 with the 14k nib for sale either. Good to know that they've lasted you so long!

Honestly what's they point of $$$ pens/pencils? That's something I honestly don't understand.

Not baiting or anything, I honestly don't get it.

What's the point of enthusiast or high end anything? Because they're better, in the case of pens and pencils, they're more comfortable, better built, more fluid to write with, etc.

OHHHHHHH okay. The one pen/pencil I've kept since middle school has been the Zebra steel pens/pencils. Get them at your local Walmart.
I've done written so many essays and done so many quadratic equations with this puppy it isn't even funny.

People say the same kinda thing about their iBuds. Does it matter? What is a palpable difference for one person isn't always so for another.

Oh I believe you completely, and im serious, this pen is actually quite comfortable, damn near indestructible (great for high school), and writes pretty smooth.

You'll never know the difference if you don't try it;)
