Mad Dogs by Mrspeakers. Will post pictures later. When I get my next significant purchase, wood cups for my DT880's which MCA is making right now!

Ok so something special came today (waiting for the other set to come)...and I figured it's time to get a nice necklace for the missus...

So these came...

Nice little jewellery box....

Let's take a peek inside....

Ah..little leather embossed sleek plastic container....smell's fresh too. I wonder what lies within it? Let's find what's inside the mystery box....

A better shot, reminds me of a gear stick knob, sleek looking....

Inside it......lies the beast....ooooo a nice necklace indeed

I think the missus will be happy with her present.....

Because I surely am happy without my DAC straight IC to my music server and my amp > HD600's, it's like I'm rehearing things I didn't hear before with my Beethoven Piano Sonata collection.....

Can't wait for the second set to come. These are easily one of the best interconnects I've heard, wiping the floor with other regular pure silver, silver plated copper IC's I've tried before.

LOL thanks for making my afternoon wolfy.

It's a special coaxial form factor cable, pure silver on the inside with gold alloys injected to fill the gap's of the silver structure. Crystal Connect Piccolo cable is the thicker speaker/interconnect/balanced XLR purpose cable of traditional Crystal Piccolino cables which is used for headphone applications.

Sounds intense.. Anyways, anyone want to make my next significant purchase come true? It's a modded PS1 CD player.

Been there done that, you won't regret it. Make sure it's a SCH1002 unit. I don't know the cost all up if you get one pre-modded. But buying a used PS1 off ebay for around $20-25 then drop about $100 or so on DIY equipment follow the guide online and you seriously have a banging cd transport system. Only down-side is no optical out's so you're stuck with RCA only.

It's not too bad but I've never heard a SCPH 5501 model before so I can't comment about the transport system and sound. The best ones for modding has always been the 1002 as they are pretty well regarded online.

Here's some inspirational videos:
