I can't tell you how it sounds but here's something: my girlfriend, someone who doesn't like my headphone hobby at all (well she's not against it, she just doesn't see the point) spent a few hours this weekend listening to the Orpheus. She was astonished by the sound... she literally felt chills and shivers to Ravel's Bolero. She never cared about audio quality in her life before, it was pretty shocking to her.

Apparently stats are the way to make people see the light. My girlfriend never cared much for my D7000, LCD 2.2, HE500, or HD800 (though those were her favorites). But once the 009s came home she was floored.

I really liked Oceanborn when it was just released in 1998. I've lost track of her since then though. Good to see she's still making music.

Well, the first thing I heard from Nightwish was 'From Wished To Eternity' and after that I became a fan - if I can say that.

The 'new' Nightwish is nice too, but different. The new Imaginaerum album is pretty nice, better than Dark Passion Play. The instrumental version of the album is great! Tuomas can make interesting stuff!

Tarja's solo albums are getting better. The last one is much better and she is getting more and more skills in songwriting too.

Sennheiser Unipolar 2000. Significant for being the first stats I own.

From the late 70s. I've not yet had enough time with them to say much about comparisons - for now I can only offer that they need EQ to approach a modernly acceptable sound. If done properly, they can be enjoyable.

A Wild Schiit Asgard appeared! Bought from the FS forums of course. Had it for about 4 days, it's damn good and looks very sexy.
