What do you consider me to be?

Note: To all, this is just for fun as you can see why it is in the general discussion.

My setup: Alessandro/Grad SR60i's, Hotaudio USB 'Bitperfect" (this is the model) DAC/AMP, and A PC thorugh which I play my lossless FLAC files though. My question to you is, do you consider me an audiophile or an audio enthusiast or a music lover (but I thank you can be a music lover and listen to the music at low bitrates. based on my equpment and setp? Why or why not? remember this is only for fun! Have a great day all.

Happy Day,

My headphone rig consists of a Sennheiser PX-100 connected to an iPod touch. I would consider myself all 3.

I consider you a person who owns an Alessandro/Grado SR60i's, Hotaudio USB 'Bitperfect" DAC/AMP, and plays lossless FLAC files through his PC. Also, you like flowers and hortos.

I see you like flowers. Therefore, I consider you a person who likes flowers.

Similarly, I consider you a person who likes Alessandro/Grado SR60i, a Hotaudio USB 'Bitperfect' DAC/AMP, and FLAC files.

Do you also like steak fries and a good IPA? If so, I would consider you a friend.

Okay, I'll take the bait. I've always thought of audiophiles as people who have set-ups that equate in value to at least a decent sports car, pay attention to things like the padding in the corners of their listening rooms, and have spent more on their power conditioning and interconnects than most people spend on audio in their entire lives. I respect them, and their financial resources, but I am not one of them. I've always thought of people who care about their gear but have less expensive and refined equipment as people with decent systems who care about sound quality. But that's just me.

Damn people, now my tummy hurts from all this laughing.

Well mr./ms./mrs. Holic, I think you're a music lover, with a nice garden.

hahhaha

If you love music enough to buy decent equipment, you're an audiophile. If you listen to your gear instead of your music, you're just plain obsessed.

So tell us: which are you?

i dont get people who need a label.. all that matters is enjoying your music.. and if you can truly enjoy music even w/ low bit-rate, then i envy you
