Received the unit. Crashed once on day one when transferring files. Had to factory reset it, then it seems fine till now, except the microsd slot seems faulty, the locking mechanism has died and the spring kept forcing my sd card out...

 

Applied some velcro over it but the card even pushed that out! If it still fails I am going to seal it with something like dynamat...

Hope you did not pay too much for it...I am selling my new T51 (still sealed in box)....and keeping the one I am using.

;) Well I found two T51 on the forum and didn't contact you

 

If only that dannn microsd slot would do its job! Lucky it reads the card even without locking it.

But it might fall from the T51 while normal use.....

sorry if this has been discussed before, but to actually check if my T51 has a blue or gray screen? do i need to check it under certain conditions?

 

i bought this about a year ago from houseofdap

Under white light indoor, look directly at it, it should give either a gray tint or blue..you cant miss it....... I took some pictures inside this thread to compare...check it.

I wonder if a iphone/ipod touch silicone cover would fit the sflo2, and so I can use that to hold the microSD in place...

I've tried all those Ipod silicon covers. None fit my T51, this DAP is too fat. If you find one that fits perfectly, share a link, I shall buy it.

thanks bro. still cant tell whether it is gray or blue. maybe i should take a picture later.

 

any idea whats the sound difference between the gray and blue tint? thanks again

 

also i had firmware issues with the t51 within a month of using so i flashed it using an sflo2 firmware so it works fine... except of some problems like the having an epic battle inserting a micro sd card for one.

Hey, the T51 club is still in the houze.

 

 

I'm going to a high-end audio show today, I wonder if I should take the T51 as source, can't de-cide.

Thanks for reminding me. The mod is finished, today I will bring
(solder new capacitors, stabilizers and a new battery) the modified teclast and write an article on the mod-review in Russian, later translated into English. The 5 players will be sent to the modified their owners after 2 weeks (that is how much is the order of the store mouser.com). As soon as the first positive responses will be accepted orders for its modification at any time!

I also figured out the scheme of charging and starting teсlast, 2 player has recovered from the non-working state.

 

After my mod is no difference between teclast with different colors screen (revision) - all internal differences are removed.

 

Several photo player, which has experienced a lot of experiments. The following modifiable players will look more clean.
