'Disappear here' by Hybrid the new album O...M...G... production values are just so good with their stuff. at first I wasnt sure what to make of some of this album, but its growing on me BIG time. some tracks just jump out at you and you lovem, others have proven to be slow - burners.

standaouts (this is hard now, great album)

'green shell suit' for a sub bass and atmosphere trip

Charlotte James's sublime vocals in 'Every Word' teamed with a pulsing and textural piece with nicely recorded acoustic guitar

and again Charlottes quite versitile voice and fantastic live percussion really drive the groove driven 'Salt'

Tim Hutton (one of the producers) takes on a slightly MC like motivating verbal assault on 'Can You Hear Me'

Charlotte gets sexy on the one of the most danceable beat driven track 'Original Sin' fantastic percussion and soaring synths

Then Tim Hutton tears a hole in your mind with the slightly disconcerting 'Take a Fall'

Then the symphonic and edgy 'Break My Soul' has this churning synth that blows the mind with JH13. wow

hmm now I think about it, I find it difficult to pick a standout, Original sin certainly grabbed me first, but i'm just loving th different moods and colours on this great album. brings back chills from when I saw them live, man I hope they tour this album

White Stripes and the Raconteurs - Jack White knows how to produce music.

There are some really surprising posts in this thread (or should I say they're not maybe the posts you'd have expected). But then maybe that's cos I don't spend that much time on head-fi other than reading comparative reviews. Don't think about hte music nearly enough. :)

Those of you who like Bella Sonus, should give the three Blue Stone albums a shot; Breathe (my fav), Messages and Worlds Apart.  One of the musicians--synth artist, whose name I can't recall--that contributed to Bella Sonus also created these.  Aside from the Spanish Guitar riffs and style, they are of similar genre and sound great on the JH13s.

Thanks - will give those Blue Stone albums another listen.

(sure wish Bella Sonus - Robert Smith? and Angel Suarez - would get together again, and give us another album)

Here's another one:

Santana (with Yo Yo Ma on cello):

While My Guitar Gently Weeps

- this one track of his upcoming album, currently available on iTunes

(album available ~25 Sept)

Harpsichord / cello intro

wait for the synth kick drum - wow!

gorgeous vocals

well engineered & well performed

Can't wait for the album.

Same here.  The Blue Stones are great, but doesn't quite match the mood of the Bella Sonus.  I'm also impatiently waiting for the 4th Lesiem album.
