Is this Panasonic 480 and 580 = 470 and 570?

I've heard a lot about the 470 and 570, but I when I looked in this catalogue, all I saw was a

480:

and a 580:

are these models equal to the 470 and 570?

no, they're not the same. check the archives.

Long story short: go for the 70 series.

HappyJack, the CT480 had no predecessor model (the one that the CT480 replaced). The predecessor model to the CT580 was the CT470. And the CT570's successor model (the one that replaced the CT570) is the CT780.

Yea, old PCDP's are generally better than newer versions.
