Hands up anyone who’d be interested in an M3 group build. I’m keen to get my teeth into another build, and if I can save some money along the way all the better. Just wanna get a feel for numbers at the moment, so let me know if your interested.

Funny you mention this. I am looking to build an M³ as a headphone/speaker amp. I'm not confirmed yet, but put my name down at this stage.

Good question that’s really difficult to answer if not impossible given the amount of commercial amps on the market. SQ is subjective whilst raw parts are not, based purely on a parts ratio value a Rudistor RPX-300 Quad Mono Headphone Amplifier ($3,714.40 AUD) or thereabouts would be comparable.

y1/2 parts are a good idea. I've ordered my AMB parts, so I'm getting a spreadsheet together to cover the rest of the components. Does anybody know who has the OPA2365 in stock?

I'll keep a close eye on this thread, however, I can't pledge anything for sure.

If the OP would like to start a group but it needs to be done in the proper forum.

The Group Buy Forum is here - http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f51/ - which is where discussion of and creation of group buys should take place. Thanks for your understanding.
