Will Woo Audiuo WA2 handle AKG 701? - Page 2

I'm very pleased with my WA2 driving my K702 -- plenty of power, control and bass extension.  As a matter of fact, using the WA2, they are my favorite dynamic phones, second only to my Stax.  Fresh out of the box, they sounded "lame" with any amp I tried.  I'm not a big believer in break-in, but the K702 really changed after several hundred hours - for the better!

Hi Wilcox have you ever try pair your akg with good ss amp one or with wa6?

I have a Meier Prehead, Lehmann Black Cube Linear, Apogee MiniDAC, various versions of Millett hybrids, and several other amps on-hand, but I like the overall musicality and organic feel that the WA2 brings to the K702.
