Well I never thought I'd ever sell these but the truth is that they've been sat on my shelf for about 9 months, not being used since the left channel cut out. I've opened up the driver housing and the solder joints look fine (shiny and no discolouration). These have been re-cabled with a stock Sennheiser HD 650 cable and have worked perfectly up until about 9 months ago. I was intending to get these looked at by someone and have them repaired but I've been happy with my Shures and I'm looking to get into speakers now, hence the reason for sale.
So basically, what you're getting are a pair of SA5000 in which the left side has stopped producing sound and thus needs repairing by someone who actually knows what they're doing. Their cosmetic condition is a bit tatty but this pertains mostly to the earpads, in particular the left earpad which is fraying significantly due to being stretched a lot when the driver housing was being taken apart. The fraying however is not on the part of the earpad that is in contact with your head so normal usage isn't affected.
The stand is included but unfortunately I don't have the original box with me. They will be shipped in a different box and have lots of bubble wrap surrounding them.
