I took an order and paid with paypal on 03 Sep 2009.Minhwa,the boss of bluetin sent a email to me said my order have been mailed to me on 06 Sep 2009. I havn't received my order till now, I'm eager to check the status of my order, so I ask the help of Mihnhwa, he rejected! Ok, I asked Minhwa
to scan a copy of mailling receipt,so I can check it myself, he rejected again. You know, without the receipt I could do nothing but to wait! Today is 24 Sep 2009, I'm desperate and I have a strong feeling of being fooled! I have to say, bluetin.com and boss Minhwa is not good, you takes the advantage of my trust to get money, ok, the money is small but you have lost the decent and credit!

I ordered CK10's from blutin last year and I had the feeling that if I chose airmail I would never see them. They lied about when they shipped them and refused to give me the tracking number (I chose an insured option). Also, many emails were required to extract information, 2-3 phrase replies and pretending not to know what I said.

I chose Audiocubes for subsequent purchases.

SCAM

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

my sorry story:
1 Ordered amp.
2 Sent prompt paypal payment
3.Listened to delay excuses, accepted same
4.On SUPPOSED day of shipping - phoned for tracking #
_PHONE DISCONNECTED!
5.Sensing scam - notified PayPal
6.Seller raised action to dispute [ I paid, no product]
7. Paypal decided case in my favour, seller refunded
172.61, not the original 1,254.17.
8.Paypal: "If the seller doesn't have sufficient funds to cover
the complete refund be assured that we will take appropriate action
against the seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's account privileges"

thread starter chose UNREGISTERED AIRMAIL!

it never fails to baffle me how unfair, and unreasonable some humans can be.

during the order process, the buyer was presented with a range of delivery options, including ems with tracking number, and registered airmail with tracing number.

but, he chose the cheapest option - airmail unregistered. he was warned of the risks 3 times (yes, 3 times!!)

1. during the order
2. an auto-email on the order with payment instructions
3. our email after posting his parcel

with these exact text,

Air Mail NOT Registered (3~4 working days to deliver. If lost, not traceable, no compensation. Think carefully. Not recommended for AU, TH.): US$3.67

* the 3-4 days time frame is given by japan post. if we do know it usually takes longer, we WILL change it.

i pointed this out to him in our emails (when it was still cordial), but he kept asking for tracking number (???). before i know it, he lodged a fraud case with paypal .. is that not unreasonable?

funny thing, these text are re-produced in his own post above. even taking into account his limited english comprehension, how much simpler could we have phrased it?

we faithfully posted his order. since it is not registered, of course there is no registration number. we do have the stamp receipt which we will submit to paypal, and to whoever here that wants to see it. i didnt show here now because the colleague that posted his order is on holidays until 30sep.

yes, it is unfortunate his parcel is delayed or lost by china post, BUT that is NOT our fault. gosh, some brainwork here please. he chose the cheap and risky option over other safer options. sorry, we should be responsible for our choices. if its registered, i would be happy to claim compensation for him, and not sink to this.

his order is about us$25. our usual orders are about us$200-300. why would we risk our reputation over this small transaction by not posting is order, or even email him that we posted the order?

yes, i could have just refunded him, and swallow the losses to avoid this bad press. but, oh, isnt it so unfair?! isnt it ransom? surrender to an unfair, unreasonable person?

pray tell where my logic failed?

sigh ... minhwa, bluetin.com

ps. we offer this unregistered option because some customers want a cheaper option, and are willing to take the risks, and many have graciously done so.

if you chose an option with tracking number or registration number, why would we not want to give it to you? what's there to gain? or was it that your email system blocked or spam-thrashed our replies?

we searched our records, and we only had 1 ck10 customer from the UK (where your profile profess to be), but you said you are not him. despite our attempt to find out more and mend what mistake we may have made, you dont want to talk.

that begs the question if you really did buy from us. or, perhaps you,
1. mixed us up with another seller (happened before)
2. were simply unhappy with our replies to your queries

admittedly our replies can be short, but in all honesty, we meant to answer the questions. with many emails to reply, we prefer to be effective than wordy. some may not like it, some may prefer it. i myself get annoyed with flowery and wordy replies when the real meat is really in a phrase or two.

it is easy to clash over emails when we cant see other's facial expression and body language. the reader's mood of the moment can cloud how he interprets a reply. i am guilty of that myself! also, misunderstandings can put the reader on an offensive stance. eg. our replies to you may have been spam-trapped, leading you to simmer with anger wondering why we have not replied.

Poor minhwa :p

I got my denons and baby stax from him. No problem whatsoever shipping to oz. They even got local rep with local bank account. All smooth quick business-like transactions. Less flower, more meat as he put it. Thanks dude.
