Thanks to both of you. I like Labyrinth and Stupid Dream.

Best faux-Bengali accent [a rare but distinctive accent of the South-central Birmingham-AL doxa]: Theank you. Come again.

P.S. Kate Bush's The Dreaming is like the intellectual breakthrough of a fully maturing audience. Hounds of Love is like that artist's efforts to translate her recognition of the actual nature of things into a form that will be more commercially successful. They are both astonishing. I happen to think that the former is _more_ astonishing. There was a movement in radical feminism that argued that women knew the world differently; The Dreaming takes that premise ten different ways. It encourages, affronts, celebrates, blasphemes, mysticizes, and stubbornly brays "No." (But that sounds like clever-Kate screetching, "Eeeehah-Eeeehah!"

P.P.S. I know a secret. Ask any of the the big fans around here what "Running Up That Hill" from Hounds of Love is about. The answer is "Milton."
