Clash of generations.

Dear HiFi friends, i made some comparisons of different generation DAPs, mostly because of one thread i read here in this forum ("Conclusions").
Also this thread made me wish old times back...so i quickly bought (with my last money) that really wonderful MZ-RH1.

Thoughts...and testing

So yesterday i was a quite long time listening to (as i already wrote) my favorite group, i can´t image a better music to compare or test audio gear: Pink Floyd

I was really surprised of my feelings and hearings belong those five DAPs.
And believe me, it was not easy to find an real winner, but finally i managed to pick one out of five.

Now guess what i choose as winner for myself

How i tested:

- i used all included earphones with each separately on all five DAPs
- listening volume was on all five the same (as far i could manage to set it almost properly the same), neutral eq where applicable, also with full bells and whistles
- tested usability of all five, including regarding about uses in-car driving
- tested interoperability between 2 major computer os (windows and OSX)
- tested recharging, time to recharge (while listening)
- tested build quality (touch feeling, outer material, design)
- tested versatility of device but this does not go (for me) in final verdict
- music tests all done listening to Pink Floyd (Now And Forever (28 September 1987)*• (Disc 1+2) - also snippets trough Pink Floyd - 2001 - Echoes - The Best Of Pink Floyd

At end, let me tell that this test is amateurish done, just for my purpose, i post here only to share with other users that might be interested.

Dont even try to publish opinion, if you dont want to argue for no reason ... What ever your choice is ...

If you still haven't understand, all the arguing in your thread was because you've said "i have MZ-RH1, all modern players sucks, if you want SQ, purchase MZ-RH1". If you would have said "i've compared MZ-RH1 to the following players and here is my opinion", there would not have been such "arguing". In the first case you're a troll, in the second case you're someone who wants to share some information with the others. Do you see the difference?

X2.. Pink Floyd is my Fav band of all times. I use the animals and DSOTM albums for gear review

Very nice collection you have there.

I guess you like the mini-disc player SQ wise best and overall you like the Sony X the most
