What Yikes said. If you are very serious about purchasing something, you should contact the vendor now and see if there is anything that can be worked out.

Your best bet though is to go to the meet, listen to the equipment on your short list and then order once you've had a chance to hear.

I should have this in time for the meet:

Onkyo Europe - ND-S1

Currently only available in Europe and Japan. It is like the Wadia iTransport, but with more features and about 1/2 the cost!

So you'll get a chance to check it out and hopefully it'll hit the US market soon...

I've got 12 for dinner so far, including the maybes. I'll have to call ahead to make sure they can accomodate us, not that I think it's a problem. I'm thinking we'll probably get around 20, but keep posting. I'd like to call them on Thursday.

On another note, since USG can't make it, does anyone else want to tackle nametags? If not, I'm going to go the old fashioned route and bring the stickies and a Sharpie.

I am also a maybe for dinner. It depends on how I'm feeling after the drive there and all of the merrymaking at the meet.

In all honesty I'm having health issues so like I said it depends on how I'm feeling.
