That's CONUS only plus Paypal and shipping and handling and if you act now, I'll throw in a second Sham Wow for just the price of shipping and handling for only ¥160,000,000

No, I was thinking about going to the Chicago meet on the way out to Monaco and then NY on the way back. But I get to Chicago far more often than NY, so I've decided to do NY on both weekends. Mom will be disappointed, but whatever, she'll get over it.

Man, I can't wait to come to NY again...

I heard $599.

There is something about EF-1 (with the stock OpAmp) and the cleartop. I have tried everything, including expensive Mullard and Bugle Boy. Nothing beats the cleartop.

hooray!

this time, we can all take photos with the Jude nametag, while wearing floats!

I also have a request if it's possible today one of the wires connected to the left Float 2 driver snapped off, and that same wire is not connected to the jack. They both need to be re-soldered, its easy but im a super noob at this would it be possible if someone would like to help a fellow head-fi member? So far i got it working agian with electrical tape but it comes loose at times

You buyin', Al?

I have something of an objective for this meet now. I recently picked up a PS Audio Digital Link III DAC. I would be very interested to have a DAC shootout with DACs in the same price range. This DAC retails for $700. There are also commercially available mods for it as well, but this one's stock.

If anybody is interested in comparing DACs post here or PM me and I'll reserve a table or two for the DACs. It would be good if we could use a hot amp that can accept multiple sources (which I don't have Maybe you do? ). Otherwise, if anyone wants to participate, we can switch DACs in and out of their systems.

Erik, I have two dacs, the MHDT labs Paradisea+ (~600$), and their Havana(~900$). Both of mine have very nice tubes in them (nice, and cheap mind you). In terms of musicality, the paradisea+ is a bargain, and I would pit the Havana against any sub 10,000$ dac.

IF I can make it, would you be interested in hearing either?

These dac's are made to sound like vinyl (very un-digital), so the best amp to pair them with is the most neutral and revealing amp (wire with amplification). Headphone is up to choice.

I have a DACMagic that I can bring, if it comes down to it - however id rather see a more appropriately classed comparison

i can bring an amp or two that can accept more than one input.

DACs are a good idea. We're always screaming for more sources, though.
